The main driving force behind this declaration, Eleanor Roosevelt was convinced that: “The destiny of human rights is in the hands of all our citizens in all our communities.” This is one of the philosophies behind REOs creation and manner of operation- the key to the fulfillment of universal human rights is to find the balance between rights and duties. Mahatma Gandhi pursued the same ideas: “When we turn away from our obligations, the human rights will be further away then ever” (Mahatma Gandhi).[/aboutbox][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row extra_id=”about” ses_title=”About us” ses_sub_title=”Research and Empowerment Organization (REO) promotes and advocates human rights in areas where women, minorities and marginalized groups are targets of regular human rights violations and global attention for these abuses is lacking.
